We have therefore formed Community Journalists and Listeners Clubs in the villages to take the problems facing their communities to be tabled for discussion on radio and on the social media platforms, for discussion and hopefully getting a solution to their problems.
Our Purpose
Youth in our part of the world thus, the Saboba District of the Northern Region in Ghana are deprived of certain basic amenities and education, this is partly due to poverty and ignorance and lack of adequate programmes to address such challenges facing rural duelers.
We have therefore realized the need to bring young people under one umbrella to advocate for the issues affecting their growth and development.
In addition, we have been working with some schools which are deprived and don not have basic amenities to enhance teaching and learning. We have been organizing a series of capacity building, mentorship, debates and quizzes so as to improve the academic standards in the District. When students are taught the subject ICT without seeing or knowing what a computer is then there is definitely a problem. So the need therefore arises for the schools to have some computers.
Empowering Young people, championing the course of women especially the girl child is of a great concern as Young people and women are left behind when it comes to decision making. We advocate for the rights of young people and women at all levels, through various media and social media platforms aimed at drawing the attention and putting pressure on the authorities to act and address the concerns of the marginalized groups.
