Jutta Tibe Kombian holds a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology from Wa Polytechnic and a BSc. Information Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. Jutta Tibe also holds a Diploma in Project Management (Change Management, Leadership, Team Development and Risk Management) from the International Business Management Institute, Berlin-Germany. Due to his passion for voluntary work, he attended courses in NGO Project and Operations Management organized by Cambridge Centre of Excellence – Accra as well as a Financial Management course organized by Humanitarian Leadership Academy for NGOs.
Also he brings a wealth of experience working as Managing Director of NETSo SERVICES publishers of defunct online news content (www.newseraonline.com) and also provides related Information Technology solutions. He is a Member of the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH).
He leads the Saboba Youth Centre’s Media & Communications department and his roles within the realms of Saboba Youth Centre includes; coordinating, managing and updating all social media platforms of the Saboba Youth Centre, In charge of media exchange program with any of Saboba Youth Centre’s partners interested in Youth and Child Parliaments, and Setting methodologies and strategies that will best suit a social media exchange program with both local and foreign partners as well as donors.
Before re-joining Saboba Youth Centre as a Management Committee member, he served as a Deputy Secretary to the Centre for 4 years and resigned on personal grounds. During his period of resignation he actively involved himself in Youth Centre activities. Until he was nominated with some members of the Youth Centre to review the Saboba Youth Centre’s Constitution an assignment he duly discharged with others.
Jutta has extensive experience in youth activities spamming from working as a volunteer with Health-Aid Onlus as Youth Coordinator and Educational Coordinator where he coordinated all youth related activities in Junior High Schools in Saboba District.
In 2016, he was part of a few young persons across the country selected by YES-Ghana to attend a Youth-Led Research Training program at Koforidua in the Eastern Region. He is also a Sustainable Development Goals Advocate and Facilitator.
Jutta conducted researches on youth related issues which further led in the drafting of the People’s National Youth Policy in 2017 where he was part of the Writing and Coordination Task force. The People’s National Youth Policy became an advocacy tool for youth policy action among youth groups across the country which finally trigged the review of the Ghana National Youth Policy.
Jutta is extremely passionate about development being sustainable, inclusive and promoting the rights of the marginalized in society. He relishes being part of project teams where diversity of ideas and opinions are welcomed.
He feels fulfilled when he is given the opportunity to contribute his bit in ensuring young people are equipped with the right skills to be part of decision-making processes at all levels. Outside of work he enjoys traveling to experience new cultures, and sightseeing.
He is eloquent in communication and admired by many of his peers due to his hard work.
